Good Friday'For God so loved the world

Even though it was written and predicted,
It still hurts to listen and think about it
when we finally gave Him the death sentence.

That night,
He humbled himself and washed the disciples' feet.
That night,
He broke his body, the bread,
and shed his blood, the wine,
On that supper table....
That night,
One of his own betrayed him....

He had been given trial,
But the crowd refused to believe in his holiness,
sentencing him, instead of a true murderer, to crucifixion.
He was tortured and beaten
Far more than what he deserves.
He was then made to carry his own cross,
having a passerby forced to carry it with him.

This is a paper child I made of Gumi. It was inspired by her new song "A Town Nearing Spring". The picture has to do with the chorus. It's an adorable song, and it already has over 15,000 views even though it was just put up in March! You can find the official song and music video here. [link]
This was the perfect spot for me to take this picture!!! I didn't even plan this! I was just looking for a spot, and I saw this hanging in my room.
